Marie Hauge Jensen

Marie Hauge Jensen is a Danish performance artist with a background in anthropology studies.

She works in the space between ritual and reality. Her performances unfold as slow gestures, long durational acts, or intimate situations, often anchored in repetition, vulnerability, and an inquiry into what it means to meet another being.

Central to her practice is a consistent dismantling of the self-as-fixed. This means questioning stable notions of identity by entering states, physical and emotional, where the boundaries of the self can shift, dissolve, or be reinvented.
