Compositions for a Landscape explores how a landscape can be embodied through the voice. In collaboration with the Icelandic chamber choir Suðurlands, performance artist Marie Hauge Jensen transforms the land into sound, creating a sensory dialogue between body, voice, and nature.

Set in an open Icelandic landscape, the choir’s voices merge with the natural soundscape—wind, water, and earth’s resonance—while Marie’s movements respond to their vibrations. Through improvisation, the performers shape their sound based on the terrain, as if singing the landscape into presence.
Compositions for a Landscape is an exploration of resonance, presence, and the deep, physical connection between human and nature.
